Joseph Waller, MD, MPH, is a board-certified radiation oncologist at our St. Louis cancer treatment center.
Dr. Waller received his medical doctorate from The University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa, and he completed his residency at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon, where he served as Chief Resident.
Before joining our team, Dr. Waller was the medical director of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology at Piedmont Henry Radiation Oncology Center in Griffin, Georgia. His special interests include stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and intravascular radiotherapy. He has an extensive medical history and cares for patients from their point of view, which allows him to connect and identify with patients.
Dr. Waller is a member of several professional societies including the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO), the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO), the American College of Radiology (ACR), and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
When Dr. Waller is not taking care of patients, he enjoys cooking, complex strategic board gaming, hiking, camping, kayaking, and any activity spent with his wife, Andrea, and son, Roman.
