St. Louis CyberKnife and SSM St. Clare Hospital host Guys Night Out
On September 28, in recognition of National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, St. Louis CyberKnife and SSM St. Clare Hospital hosted a free Guys Night Out!
The event, which took place at the SSM St. Clare Conference Center, was emceed by Emmy Award-winning Fox 2 News reporter, and cancer survivor, Roche Madden. Almost 75 men were in attendance.
The purpose of the night was to allow an opportunity for residents of the community to learn more about men’s health issues and ask medical questions in a relaxed and comfortable setting. A panel of SSM Health physicians from a diverse line of specialties including family medicine, urology, radiation oncology, and gastroenterology were on hand to answer questions.
In addition to the panel of expert physicians, guests enjoyed complementary food, beverages, and giveaways, including all-inclusive tickets to an upcoming St. Louis Blues hockey game. Fredbird®, the official mascot for the St. Louis Cardinals major league baseball team, was even on hand for photos!
A lot of fun was had and St. Louis CyberKnife and SSM Health Cancer Care would like to thank those that attended, as well as the people that helped and volunteered, to make the night a success!
