St. Louis CyberKnife Celebrates Two Years at SSM St. Clare

St. Louis CyberKnife is proud to honor two years of service at SSM St. Clare. Since opening in 2012, our experienced physicians and staff have worked to successfully treat more than 100 patients with malignant and benign tumors throughout the body. With an interdisciplinary approach to care, our team has been able to achieve a number of milestones:

• We worked with a team of specialists to create a customized treatment plan to successfully treat stage IV lung cancer patient, Theresa. Watch a video about her experience here.
• We collaborated with the SSM network for the KickCancer campaign, a partnership with the St. Louis Rams NFL team to raise money and awareness for cancer care in our community.
• Our hospital partner, SSM St. Clare, honored members of the St. Louis CyberKnife team for their exceptional patient care at the hospital’s 4th Annual Exceptional Performance Awards. The CyberKnife® team, a finalist in the Exceptional Patient Care category, was recognized for department building, service and reputation, and finding new and innovative ways to increase patient care quality.
• We joined efforts to raise awareness for newly launched preventive lung cancer screenings offered by our partner SSM Cancer Care at St. Clare Health Center as part of the International Early Lung Cancer Action Program (I-ELCAP).
