St. Louis CyberKnife Participates in Lung Cancer 5K
St. Louis CyberKnife is a proud sponsor of the Lung Cancer Connection 6th Annual 5K Walk. Each year more than 1,000 people participate to show love and support for lung cancer patients and their families.
The Lung Cancer Connection works to educate residents and the medical community about the risks and warning signs of the disease. The group launched the 5K run/walk in 2009 and has since grown to be one of the largest events of its kind in St. Louis.

Our center offers a noninvasive form of treatment for lung cancer called stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). This advanced procedure is provided using CyberKnife® technology. Lung tumors are treated with very precise, high-dose radiation beams while radiation exposure to healthy tissue surrounding a tumor is minimized.
