St. Louis CyberKnife Welcomes Yu Sharon Chen, M.D., Ph.D. to Staff

St. Louis CyberKnife announced that Yu Sharon Chen, M.D., Ph.D. has joined SSM Health Cancer Care and will be offering radiation oncology services to patients throughout St. Louis and the surrounding communities. 

Yu Sharon Chen, M.D., Ph.D. received her Bachelor of Science degree from Peking University in China in 2000.  She received her Ph.D. in molecular biology from Princeton University in New Jersey, and her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York in 2010.  Dr. Chen completed her residency in radiation oncology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. 

Dr. Chen takes special interest in breast cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, head and neck cancer, brachytherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiotherapy. 

Dr. Chen is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), American Brachytherapy Society (ABS), and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

In addition to speaking English, Dr. Chen is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
